general labourer

The General Labourer plays an important role in delivering the quality service our clients expect from the Honey-Do Crew. This is a hands-on position that supports a variety of projects, including painting, gutter installation and maintenance, property improvements, junk removal, landscaping, and general repairs. No two days are exactly the same, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in a job well done.

We're looking for a dependable team player who is eager to learn, works safely, and enjoys working outdoors and with their hands. Previous experience is an asset, but attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic matter most. We provide on-the-job training, mentorship, and opportunities to develop valuable trade and property maintenance skills. If you're motivated, professional, and ready to be part of a growing local business that values quality workmanship and customer service, we'd love to hear from you.

typical work day

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Occasional overtime or Saturday work
  • Weekly schedule provided in advance
  • Work is often outdoors in variable weather conditions
  • Standing, bending, and manual labour for extended periods
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Local travel with daily return to Liverpool

  • On-site, outdoors, various locations
  • Traditional business hours
  • Overtime as needed
  • Working in a small team
  • Extended time standing
  • Exposure to heights, noise, and physical activity

requirements

Minimum Skills Required

  • Positive attitude — the most important qualification at the Honey-Do Crew
  • Reliability and punctuality — you show up on time, ready to work
  • Enjoyment of flexibility and variety — no two days are the same
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn new skills
  • Physical fitness — able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Steel-toed work boots (must provide your own)
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Non-smoker — we provide clients with a smoke-free service and professional crew
     

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with lawn care equipment such as trimmers or mowers
  • Familiarity with power tools (drills, saws, chainsaws)
  • Comfort with hand tools (hammers, rakes, tape measures)
     

Occupational Requirements

  • Clean criminal record check
  • Clean driver’s abstract
